We have all had our dark and vulnerable moments, and the craft of taking a woman’s vulnerability and turning it into an incredibly powerful song is exactly what Buckcherry did when they wrote Everything. We should all be free of the judgement of others, and instead of the critques of the public, we should embrace our weaknesses.
Take this moment to reflect; how has your weaknesses made you who you are today? And remember always that our own weaknesses can be turned into a magestic strength as long as we don’t let others manipulate our emotions into thinking we are anything else but amazing and beautiful creatures. Creative writing has taken me far, and writing about myself has given me the ability to become the person I want to be instead of the person everybody wants me to be. Be free, little birds, and fly as high as the heavens.
No matter what you think about yourself, you have to remember that you are a unique snowflake and that you are here to create your own destiny. What is your purpouse? When you think of our weaknesses and decide to turn them into a strength, amazing things will start to happen in your life.
Example: An abused child can choose to follow the path society led them to believe was their only fate, or to believe in themselves and become a successful social worker who gets the chance to “save” abused children from the dark lives they have lived.
Example: A man who’s parents worked at a factory his whole life can follow in the footsteps and live the same mundane life his parents did, or he can choose to further his education with the government grants and scholarships available to him.
The best revenge is success. People want to see us fail so they can feel better about themselves. Do not let their stupid opinions of you get you down. Throw it back with a spin on the ball and give them something to talk about.
This is exactly what I chose to do when people ridiculed me (when I first got Camfrog) for doing what I know was the right thing to do. Since then, I have embraced my web fame and have become a successful web developer/ graphic artist due to my desire for revenge, and more so, my desire to succeed.
People hate to see people they hate succeed. And when you succeed, you are doing what you love to do, no matter what it is. Success can be the girl on camfrog who blows bubbles because she wants to, and she is good at it. Success can be the man on camfrog who uses it to make money by owning a popular room with a successful website. Success can be you, if you only let it and do not let others and their negative thinking get you down.
Do not let these people run your life. Do what you know is right, and don’t stop until you come to where the sidewalk ends.
I encourage all of you to follow your dreams and become the success you dreamed of as a child. What did you want to do when you were ten? What is stopping you from doing that? And if you have reached your goal, write some new ones to keep the train on the tracks.
A person is what they think about all day. What do you think about all day? Do you want to be that person? Or are you desperate to become the person you know you should become? Writing your goals down increases the chance of doing them by like 100%. Take this time to write down a couple of daily goals, weekly goals, monthly goals, and yearly goals. Remember to start small if you are not already in this habit. Read it everyday. And quit all the negativity; it’s like planting weeds in your rose garden. The thoughts will take over and lead you to believe you are worthless, which you are NOT.
I hope some of you out there take my advice. This isn’t my advice, because it actually comes from a Psyche doctor, written in the ’50′s. This has changed my life, and I try and listen to the audio weekly. The Strangest Secret In The World.
Good luck in your ventures, Fallen Angels!
